The National Alliance on Mental Illness Greater Houston - "Our mission is to improve the quality of life of children, individuals and families who are living with a mental illness by providing support, education and advocacy."

1 in 5 families in any given year is touched in some way with a serious mental illness. It's not taboo, it's real. Let's be compassionate and understanding.

We're so #grateful to our #amazing customer that selected NAMI Greater Houston as their charity of choice. It's a charity that has made a huge difference in their family's life and that of so many others.

#TheMosesCloset is who inspired us this week! These are the #amazing #selfless #women #volunteers who make this wonderful charity possible...

Thank you to Jocelyn, Jackie, and Monika for all you do for The Moses Closet and more importantly the #families you serve. In case you're wondering...they provide essentials to foster and adoptive families bringing children into their homes. They provide beds, clothing, baby equipment and more as needed to families. In addition, they provide Welcome Baskets for the children, filled with goodies and an age-appropriate #Bible for them + continued support & fellowship. #loveit

Of course, this isn't possible without our tremendous customer whom I've been fortunate to call a friend for many years graciously selecting The Moses Closet...as an adoptive mom herself - she gets it. #loveitmore

The charity, Worthy of Love based in Los Angeles (hence the shirts) was selected by our amazing customer who happened to go to high school #KatyHighSchool with the founder #SistaMary of #worthyoflovela - plus some ole pals came out to show some love & support!

Worthy of Love - their mission #everychilddeservesasmile - throws incredible birthday celebrations for children experiencing homelessness in DTLA or also known as #skidrow. "We strive to bring hope to homeless children. We believe children deserve to be reminded of their value and potential. We believe by showing them they are #worthyoflove they will be motivated to pursue their dreams.”

This #WONDERFUL organization focuses on #Keepingfamiliesclose during the most challenging of times. Check out the #runforthehouse sponsored by @Trafigura which is matching dollar for dollar up to $300K by their foundation! WOW!!!
